Long Story
The word ‘Long Story‘ might sometimes, hinders reader from picking up the book to read, as reader knows that they would have to spend quick amount of time to finish reading it. It could be days or even weeks.
Two possible outcomes from picking up a long story book :
– Reader may leave it half-way and not finishing the story. The book was then left at the corner, untouched ever since or perhaps being picked up again after a period of time.
– Reader may be drawn into the story and had the urge that pushing him or her to keep turning the page, one after another. Lost in time, reader came to realized that they have finished reading the whole story. Certain level of satisfaction was felt by some readers.
Author’s thought about this :
Well, when the mood is right, I’d pick up the long story to read.
What, literally, stops me from finishing it? Most likely be – the storyline or the word that carries reader through the story was somewhat not vibing along with the life principle or belief I hold on to. I’m not criticize on the author of the said story; there surely be some readers out there that love their work.
Once I enjoy the long story, if the climax was so tempting, I might staying awake to finish as much chapters as possible until my eyes were getting blurred. Time to sleep. Slow or fast, I would surely finish the long story. Like others, I would like to know what kind of endings the said author has for this long story.
