Mirror, Mirror

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,

Most people have one on their wall,

Square or oval, big or small,

Which one to get? It’s your call.

Sunrise, day breaks,

With bed hair, you awake,

Feeling lazy and trying to escape,

But still you get up and shave,

I wanna say to you, “Everything is
okay; good days ahead.”

Sunrise, day breaks,

Alarm clock rings, you awake,

That cute nude face, you literally
hate,

Colourful palette, you put on makeup
shades,

I wanna say to you, “Your nude face,
looks great.”

On the journey to perform your
tasks,

Facing people while wearing a mask,

“Why? Why?” I ask,

“Why the authentic you hidden behind
the mask?”

Luxury jewellery, fancy pouch,

Pretty lady that every men sought,

Material desires, vanity pleasures,
all that counts,

“Why? Why?” I shout,

“Why not be the usual you, having a
hot cocoa, chilling on the couch?”

You arrived home, late evening,

Tiring body, head spinning,

Venting your anger to the one you
loving,

You hear nothing when you are
yelling,

“Release those anxieties and worries
as they don’t benefiting.”

You arrived home, finally,

Proud and ego, all that flattering,

When alone at home, those has no
meaning,

You cry at the corner of the room
when loneliness calling,

“Love yourself sweetie; lying to
yourself, what good does it bringing?”

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,

I can only watch, you can’t hear me
talk,

I see all of you and the past you
have experienced so far,

How I wish you could live your days
showing the world how wonderful you truly are,

Listen to your heart, sometimes, let
it make the call,

Everyone has the rise and fall,

Be the commander of your life and
standing tall,

Whatever the outcomes, enjoy every
moment the journey you have walked.

Mirror, mirror,

To the stars I whisper,

Bless the child that looks into
the mirror,

Turn my wishes to heal them sooner,

Give them wisdom for them to think
wiser,

Mirror, mirror,

I would be here until you make your
next departure,

Even if one day I broken into
pieces,

You are still the one I hold, the closest.
